Did you know we have a DYNO? Ever wonder what kind of Horsepower and Torque your bike is producing? Why not let us find out for you?!
Running problems? Through the use of state-of-the-art computer technology, our Dynamometer allows us to quickly and accurately diagnose performance problems. By simulating the best “seat-of-your-pants” road testing right in the shop, problems are easily diagnosed in a fraction of the time. Tuning a motorcycle has never been easier! With the addition of an air/fuel ratio monitor, we can show you not only horsepower and torque, but also exact air/fuel ratio. This takes the guesswork out of air/fuel metering concerns. The air/fuel ratio graph shows a rich/lean condition at each RPM during the Dyno run.
We have the product, but do we have the training? Of course we do! All of our technicians have been trained to use the Dyno accurately and effectively. Why not let us take your bike on the best Dyno-ride of it’s life?! Call now for an appointment!

| Alissa Humphrey – Engines have always been a passion of mine. I had 7 years experience in the automotive field (service and body shop) and 2 ½ years in the parts industry before settling in here in early 2005. I became the Service Manager in 2006 and love what I do. Although I don’t currently own a Harley® bike, I intend to change that very soon.

Bob VanValkenburgh – As a young teen in the sixties, I got to experience the muscle car and motorcycle boom years first hand. I caught the mechanic bug from my grandfather, both a mechanic and hot rodder most of his life. Working in my uncle’s garage during summer breaks from school, I started down the path that would become my lifetime career. Starting with my first at age 12, I’ve owned 30 motorcycles over the past 40 years. Currently, I ride a 2004 Night Train®. I started working professionally on motorcycles in the mid '70s and have been at Woodstock Harley-Davidson since 1988. Ultimately, I became a Harley-Davidson PHD Master of Service Technology.

| Chris West – A lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, I am an AMI graduate. I’ve spent 32 years in the motorcycle business with 25 years off-road motorcycle experience and over 15 years of Harley-Davidson experience. Another interest I have is photography. Oh yeah, and I’m a huge Mets fan! Currently, I ride a 2005 Softail® Springer® Classic.

| Mike Fischer – At 17 years old, I decided to devote my life to the US Army. It was in the Army that I was an A/C and Generator mechanic. I finished my tour and became a civilian again in 2002. From there, I worked at a RV & Boat dealer as a mechanic before going to the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Spring of 2003. Graduating in late 2004, I specialized in late models, Buell® bikes, V-Rod® models, and Screamin’ Eagle® motorcycles. I worked as an auto mechanic in 2004 and 2005, and in a welding/fabrication shop in 2006 and early 2007. From there, I came to Woodstock Harley-Davidson where I plan to stay. Over the years I’ve owned various dirtbikes, four-wheelers, snowmobiles, and motorcycles. I was raised on Harley-Davidson and currently own a 1999 Super Glide®. In 2005, I was blessed with the addition to my family, my son, Michael III. He’ll be raised on Harley just as I was.

| Greg Mitchell – I started riding motorcycles at a young age in rural Ulster Park in a field across the street from my parent’s home. I was hooked. As I grew up, I started learning how to repair all of my friend’s dirt bikes and atvs. I bought my first road bike when I was eighteen. I started my mechanics career in the construction rental industry, which soon changed into motorcycle technician in 1997. I decided to go to school at Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Florida, where I received a degree in motorcycle and watercraft repair. The day I graduated, I had a job offering at a local dealership to start my career in the industry. In 2000, I was hired at Woodstock Harley-Davidson and have been here ever since. There is nothing like going to work at something you enjoy so much.

| Jim McCaffrey – I started out riding a mini-bike, but by 13 years old I had bought a 100cc trail/street Kawi that the guy told my parents, “He’ll never get it running.” A week later, the town police brought me & the bike home. Out of high school, it was a “Fonzi Honda” and the auto industry. Then I caught the travel bug! In Arizona, it was a Suzuki and tour buses for me. In Texas it was railroad, heavy equipment, and my first basket Harley – my fate was sealed. Several aftermarket V-Twin shops, basket and show winning bikes later, I moved back to New York. I started at Woodstock Harley-Davidson in 2000 in parts and moved to service in 2004. Now I’m doing it right with the latest and greatest training and support. I enjoy helping not only the seasoned rider, but the novice and beginners as well.

| Glen Helsley – I’ve been riding motorcycles since I was 6 years old. Currently, I ride a 2002 FXST Softail® Standard, which I purchased from Woodstock Harley. I’m a graduate of MMI Harley-Davidson program in Phoenix, AZ. I’ve been working at Woodstock Harley-Davidson since 2005, starting in the Parts department. I split my time between Service and Parts for awhile, but have been full-time in Service since late 2006.

| George Arthurs – Born and raised in Kingston, I’ve been in the motorcycle industry for quite some time now. I’ve been a parts person, service writer, service manager, and a service technician in the top 5 leading motorcycle companies. I started my motorcycle career in the Parts department at a local multi-line dealership. From there, I moved to the Service department as a writer, where I dealt with customer service and warranty issues. Soon after I advanced to a technician. As a technician, I worked on cruisers, sport bikes, atvs, dirt bikes, watercraft, snowmobiles, and power equipment. This broad array of machines has given me my unique level of experience. All of this has aided me in achieving my 5 Star Certification. I came to work for Woodstock Harley-Davidson in the spring of 2006 and quickly found my place among the rest of the techs in the shop. While I’ve always appreciated new and innovative ways to customize/design motorcycles, it’s the Bobbers of the '60s that suit my style best. | |
